Jason Brazelton, Esq.

Jason is admitted to practice in all state courts in the State of Florida, and the federal U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Northern Districts of Florida. In 2014 and 2015, Florida Super Lawyers selected Jason as a Rising Star - an honor bestowed on less than 2.5% of Florida attorneys annually.

In 2012, Jason started Braz Law to continue his focus on construction and collection cases. Jason also expanded his practice areas to personal injury and bankruptcy. Before opening his own practice, Jason worked at Moody & Shea, P.A. from 2006 through 2012. He gained valuable litigation and trial experience in the commercial, construction and collection practice areas.

After completing undergraduate studies, Jason attended Stetson University College of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2006. In July 2006, Jason scored in the top 5-10% of the country on the multi-state portion of the bar exam.

Jason is a native Floridian, born and raised in West Palm Beach. In 1995, he enlisted in the Air Force with a specialized job as a Contract Administrator/Purchasing Agent. While stationed at Eielson AFB in Alaska, Jason managed multi-million construction contracts including the base paving and architect/engineer contracts. At his second assignment, Jason worked with service contracts in excess of $100,000 and served as a manager of the base's government credit card program.

While in the Air Force, Jason's duties encompassed the bid and selection process, coordination with base engineers, negotiation procedures, project oversight, and payment processing, among others. Jason received outstanding performance reviews, numerous medals, awards, and even an early promotion while serving his country.
